The day has finally come.. the long-awaited launch of the Ryzen 2 lineup is FINALLY HERE!! Rejoice! There’s already been countless benchmark videos to show if this ‘version 2’ is worth your money. Except, all of these videos are testing the ‘X’ versions (the 2700X and the 2600X respectively). Hopefully they’ll test the regular versions next.<\/p>\n
Shockingly, my bank account says I have well more than what’s needed to buy the 2600, right now<\/strong>. However<\/em>… I was reminded by a video, that the prices should<\/span> drop in several months from now (much like the Ryzen 1 lineup). And making sure it’ll fit my entire $600-800 PC upgrade budget (instead of $500.. thanks to the price of RAM), would definitely be the smarter option. It’s not like I absolutely need it right now (as my computer’s been running just fine for months). So, that’s basically all I wanted to say. Sorry about this thing being so short, but there wasn’t really much I could say about it. The only ones that really should be buying it, are people that know it’ll work with their system (aka PC enthusiasts), and PC hardware reviewers. \nWaiting a few months, also has its benefits– such as not having to deal with emergency chipset driver and\/or BIOS updates (and possibly even some hotfixes) that AMD might have to push (due to forgetting about it before launch). Waiting for things to iron themselves out (if you’re not someone who enjoys fixing computer problems), is definitely a smart move.
