All day I’ve been wondering if I should get the EP, and also looking for a trainer.
\nFacepunch wouldn’t help me as that thread about Spore just keeps going on Page 2, and I rather not get yelled at for bumping it over and over. I knew people didn’t give a shit about it. So I needed to find a forum that’s around it.
\nI happened to find the Sporum. Spore’s official forum. Found out my old login works on the forum too. First thing I did was PM one of the mods if it’s OK to talk about trainers. I never got a reply. So I did a search and there was discussion about trainers.
\nSo I thought of just making a chance and creating my first thread<\/a> in that forum, asking them to make me buy the EP.<\/p>\n

As usual, there was a few Spore fanboys, saying “Oh wow you should so get this thing! It’s so awesome!”, and then there was level-headed people telling me to not expect a miracle with this thing, and it’s not perfect.<\/p>\n

Of course it’s not going to be the key that jump starts Spore to the way it was when it was announced, even though I didn’t even care about it until it got closer to release. But I already explained that in a much earlier blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So they’re still not selling me over it, then I request once again to find a trainer. Doesn’t happen. Ok I have to shove it down their throats then.
\nI make a thread in the Spore General Discussion this time, asking specifically for a trainer.
\nFinally I had a response. Just not what I wanted to see. One saying that I’m better off using the dev cheats already in the game, as they should be what I want.
\nNow it’s been some time since I played Spore, so I forgot the cheats. Did a little search and began to remember something.
\nI remembered that day where I thought “I don’t need this trainer anymore. All it does is fuck up in Space Stage” when it came to having an invincible ship so I could kick ass, and it was a lie. I found out I could do better off without the trainer.<\/p>\n

So with that said, I finally made my decision to get it. And was it a good idea to get that $40 in the bank. With tax it was $38 something.<\/p>\n

So anyway, I got Spore and Galactic Adventures installed, and I’m going “Uhh.. how do I get the 1.05 patch?”
\nLol… so I had to make another thread about that. Again, no response. As I wait I notice another thread where someone that had just updated to 1.05, about not being able to use one of the critical cheats I will be using.
\nI’m thinking “Oh boy… maybe I should stick with 1.04 for now” and wait for this person’s thread to be replied. It does, with the person saying there’s nothing wrong with the cheat.
\nSo that’s comforting news. However it’s not responding to my thread.<\/p>\n

I decide to look around Google, and boom, there was my answer; JUST RUN SPORE and you’ll have the patch for EADM users!<\/p>\n

So I ran Spore, put in my login info, and sure enough, “A patch has been found. Wanna download it?”
\nSo now I have the 1.05 patch. Wondering if my old dragon creature still existed, I search through Spore’s database.<\/p>\n

I saw my attempt in making a Pyro-GX from Descent 1, and my original dragon creature before the Tribal stage. But not that one I made after someone made me a dragon creature that looks like my avatar.
\nI search my backups on my hard drives, no go. I must’ve deleted them thinking I would never play again.
