Typing this as early as the 5th (now it’s the 20th, I’m editing where needed), and hoping I live long enough to see this (and the total solar eclipse the next day). To die on my birth month would be quite ironic.
So, wow.. 41 years of being alive. It’s both incredible, and sad at the same time. Why, lord? You really think I have a ‘purpose’ in life? HAH! The only purpose I have is sitting on my ass and playing video games ’till the day I die. Yes, sad life. The hell I’ve been through this year, ending with rebuilding my computer (and freaking out about getting thermal paste on my fingers, thinking I can never eat again). Far worse things have been on them, and yet I’m still alive.. somehow.

I can definitely feel the age on my body as the days go by, with the occasional arthritis and stuff like that. Yet the only thing that hasn’t aged is my brain (and my personality). Still yelling at my monitor and thinking what I’m seeing can hear me, as usual (yet at the same time, knowing it can’t respond).
At the time of this post, I don’t know what game I want for my birthday (that I won’t feel like I’m regretting my purchase).
But I know one thing I’m not doing, which is going to the MRT Server. For the past two years, it just didn’t feel welcoming (and just like a normal day to them). I see enough drama in the MRT Discord channel to get my feel.

So that’s about it, besides the “Happy Birthday” emails I’ll get from the various websites I have an account with. You guys can also wish me a happy birthday, if you wish.
(So this is a surprise(and a first). None of the websites I’m a part of have sent me a Happy Birthday email)
–
And tomorrow (the 21st) is what’s been talked about since June of this year: the Great American Total Solar Eclipse. The first time we’ve seen a 100% total solar eclipse in the USA in over 100 years, and it’ll be 95.8% covered of where I live.
What’s awesome, (and this is official) I’ll be heading down to near ‘Eclipseville’ (Hopkinsville, Kentucky) with my father and his brother to see the full-on totality, at its longest duration in the entire US (two minutes and 41 seconds). Got official, certified eclipse glasses from my local Kroger two weeks ago (Sun Catcher), so I’m all set to watch it.
Quite excited, yet worried at the same time(just the mild jitters). This feels like my first convention (minus the booths). Gotta wake up at 9am tomorrow.

The weather is supposed to cooperate, which is freakin’ fantastic. Can’t wait to see day turn into night infront of our eyes (and seeing stars).
While also dealing with zombies, vampires, swamp things, and floating demon eyes hitting someone’s house… oh wait, this isn’t Terraria?
Well, to end this, enjoy this 1 hour long video of the ‘Solar Eclipse’ music in that game, right here.

I wish I could record the eclipse as it happens, but my phone’s camera doesn’t have an eclipse filter (plus it would possibly look blurred).

Ah, the power of a shameless post.
