The main story, is (with help), I finally was able to learn the true reason why my new CPU is misbehaving. But I’m getting way ahead of myself. Let me start as yesterday went on.
First off, I sent back the CPU Cooler to Newegg (which should arrive back in California by Wednesday of this week) and hopefully if things go as the website claims of using my own shipping labels (provided by my local USPS Store), I should get a full refund (including tax).

At this time, I have had ENOUGH of not knowing what the FUCK is going on with my CPU! So I once again asked the off-topic channel of the FTB Forum. Remembering what Dezent told me once, that I could possibly limit the cores.. I wanted to see if the experts know how to make this work in my favor.
And the results…..were beyond not promising (and still bothers me as I type this post). It wasn’t insults that got me, but for one thing that I was wrong about blaming Java (it’s Minecraft itself being the issue), and also..Minecraft is single-threaded. Basically, it doesn’t use all the CPU’s cores to distribute the load more evenly (which would mean a smoother framerate). The less cores, the better (it seems).
Wow. WOW. Notch, Angry may’ve called you a God in the early days. But you and your bald head are now on my shitlist. How..could you NOT FUCKING KNOW CPUs WOULD ADVANCE OVER THE YEARS?!?!
This probably affects Wurm as well (as Notch co-owned Wurm with Rolf in its early days (before he worked on Minecraft). Of course, this is just an assumption (IMO, it’s a pretty valid one).

I decided to go back to stress testing my CPU. It felt like total darkness was over me. Yet…somehow I saw a light shining. And that light was the CPU ‘throttling’ even during the test! I saw the SAME thing as I saw when I played Modded Minecraft, with the clock speed going down. I’m thinking, I finally had something to possibly prove it’s NOT Minecraft causing the issue!!
I asked Discord once again, this time taking my findings to one of the two who suggested the parts. We started to believe that it could be a setting either in Windows or BIOS, that was ‘throttling’ the cores to save power. But it seems no matter what I was suggested to try, it kept doing it.

Then finally, a breakthrough! The answer would soon be revealed! The REAL reason why the CPU isn’t working right, is….
…my motherboard doesn’t support it (as it clearly doesn’t show it being listed). The main guy who suggested the parts, greatly apologized to me and swore he would make this right. And how he did, was suggest I get a better board (obviously). He also gave me a list of compatible motherboards for my CPU.
He also suggested this, a CPU cooler that should fit and won’t try to crush my RAM. I feel very confident in it, as I remember a similar design I had in my computer, many years ago (tall cooler, but will fit better). Plus, a lot of reviews say this thing is very quiet.

My options are more open in picking a board in that list. I want something with a lot of USB ports, and looks good. Most of these include ports I’ve never seen in my life (which are mainly for attaching external HDDs/SSD’s… wait, an EXTERNAL SSD?!).
Unfortunately, even with this lower cost, I have to wait ’till possibly September until I have enough. But this is actually a good thing, as boards which are currently out of stock will eventually restock, and I’ll be able to check them out as well.

‘Till then, though…I’m stuck with this CPU. I -might- just go get my 4350 back in and store the 9590 until the day I’ll have better hardware (again)..but honestly, Minecraft is just one game (when I’ll have so many others which will possibly run better).
At least, I hope. E:D runs OK with it, at least. And if they do run better, I can say “Mmm, if I’m gonna play Modded Minecraft, I’m just going to have to work around the sudden slow times.”
Though, trying Vanilla Minecraft on the MRT Server. I wonder what that would be like.

…something happens (technically) in your favor.
