Mainly of the CPU, the SSD mounting bracket, and the SSD itself.

I’ll start with the mounting bracket (of a past worry, but it’s OK now). I was worried, of that I don’t know how the guy that I take my computer up to, to get parts installed, was going to make the mounting bracket work with my computer. I fear he would have to take out my old ‘A’ drive, which would leave a nice hole in the front of my computer (and allow dust to get in).
But it turns out, he’ll be installing this where my C drive currently is.

But my second (new) fear (since I’ve never gone SSD), is will it be compatible with my PSU’s cables? I have a 450W for one thing (I thought it was a 750W, but I guess I had my GPU on my mind instead). The SSD(on Newegg), claims that it’s compatible with SATA. So it should work. Yet it doesn’t state this on the box, anywhere.

.
Finally, my third (and possibly worst) fear, is the replacement CPU. But this isn’t just the CPU itself, but also Windows. I’ve been told that as the years go by, Windows 7 will ‘degregate’ the power of my CPU (as in, it won’t use its full power as 7 will soon be phased out).
There is even one that claims installing an AMD CPU will “make my computer explode”. Not sure what they’re on, but I don’t want any of it (I like my sanity).

People are telling me to upgrade to Windows 10 (to get the full power), and most of you know my stance on it. Sure, you can block the privacy settings..but you can’t block all of it (and this is coming from people who felt the same thing I do, yet still upgraded).
Plus, the forced Windows Updates. How can anyone forget those?!
Yet the person that offered the choice between replacing my motherboard/RAM or getting a better CPU for my current motherboard, says the 9590 is a “solid choice”. Hell, I think it’s the fastest CPU of the FX brand (which I’m being told how old FX is).
Upgrading to the next Windows version should be optional, not a requirement to get the full power of my hardware. Even the part installer, hates working with Windows 10.

.
.
I spent nearly $400 on all of this (still waiting for the CPU cooler to come this Thursday). I–I expect to get my money’s worth (and it lasting a good 5-10 years). But I have my doubts (as I stated). I feel I should had done this years ago, and now I’ve possibly waited too long.

(Little did Benie know.. he. fucked.
