So as most as you all know (if you’ve been following the news I’ve been posting), the Best Boi server (and Discord server) will be shutting down next month (with a memorial server taking its place). This server will have portals to the other servers (but they’ll be private, aka you won’t be able to look for them in the Worlds list, but you can make them your home (and\/or a favorite) if you so wish).
\nAnd you probably know what happened. However, this isn’t the only community I’m a part of that hasn’t had its own taste of drama. Though this community isn’t in VRChat, but in Minecraft– the MRT(Minecraft Rapid Transit) Server, and wow has it been a long time since I’ve talked about them.<\/p>\n
Though, there really isn’t that much to say anymore about the vanilla Minecraft server. However, both communities are similar (for two things).
\n1. Both communities do meetings (except the mods of the MRT do a private meeting before the public, where the BB mods stick with a public-only meeting, only reserving ‘private meetings’ for Mod Chat).
\n2. Drama. It’s here and there, it’s everywhere. It’s even in your hair(or fur, so take a shower you filthy animal! Scrub that drama out with anti-drama shampoo!).<\/p>\n
“Look at me still digressing when there’s blogging to do!”<\/em> Ever since the aftermath of the plaque incident (when Charms slammed down hard on us to try to make us wake up), I actually agreed (with others) that we needed more mods like him; mods that took no shit from anyone. Mods that would be strict. But, how strict is too<\/em> strict? \nWhere was I? Oh yes. So the MRT has had its share of drama (myself being a part of some of it.. that I wish I could erase). But as I said before, the mods have dealt with it. They have also dealt with issues that feel like myself and others trying to show that the mods were corrupt.
\nSo now Frumple (the owner of the MRT Server) has proposed a new rule that he calls.. \u201cbelligerent dissent\u201d. You can read this lengthy proposal (in your own free time), by clicking here<\/a>. And please do so, for this proposal… shows exactly where the Best Boi community went downhill (and why I should had been punished for wanting to defend it). I’m serious.<\/p>\n
\nWhat Frumple proposes of this ‘belligerent dissent’, is to pretty much flat out warn you for complaining about the rules, the staff.. or even how the server is being ran.
\nNow, imagine in an alternate universe, that Kibble was very active with the community. And a week after the plaque incident, he would slap us with this. Imagine what would happen against people like John, people like Sneaky.. people like me. We’d be banned, that’s what would happen! And guess what? We actually needed this, because it possibly would had ended the kindergarten behavior of the community.

\nIt would had been a much, much stronger community.. than it is now. The mods, taking no shit from anyone. Would it feel harsh? Hell yeah. Would I be pissed of being banned? Of course!! And I probably would had uninstalled VRChat and never touched it again!
\nBut as I just said, we needed that harshness. And I would eventually come back.<\/p>\n
