I’m back in my house @ Dragon Forest after spending a full day on the Wild server. Though I feel like the citizens of Kyara are glad I left and do not wish to see me again for entering their local unannounced about what my intentions are, and begging to see the dragon.<\/p>\n
By the way, you can check out my ‘vacation’ photos by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n But this is basically what happened with the time I did spend there, and why I’m not going back…<\/p>\n When I finally crossed into the Wild server, I was disoriented. I thought I was already near The Landing when I had to keep going north and then turn west. But after some time I finally got there. Time passed and I continued to wait around the marketplace for something to happen, and Dream Master showed up as I was talking to angry in Steam. I honored his presence, told him who I was, and if I could see the inside of Kyara to get a few pictures. He said he wouldn’t have the time to arrange that, and mentioned about a dragon… “Dragon? You got a dragon in there?? :D” I said, nearly squealing like a happy pig. Sadly, I wasn’t allowed to see it, saying how they worked hard for something like nearly a year trying to keep this dragon alive, and about 5 minutes later he logs off.<\/p>\n Alittle later, Gavin shows up. And I tell him the same thing I told Dream Master, and he too denied me access to see the dragon, except by saying that not all citizens of Kyara even know of it’s location, and the fact he couldn’t bring it out for me because it would destroy every wall it gets led to. Anyway, before all of this, I purchased a nice 94QL pelt for 20c as a souvenir. I also asked Nosyt, another Kyara citizen if s\/he could make me a high QL boat lock. The person said it would take 2 days. And at the time I didn’t mind waiting.. now I do. The next day, it was alittle more active. Kyara was still busy up in their fort, imping their lives away. But I still wanted to do something, like go to CV and see Kyara’s dragon, which sadly..both weren’t achieved. Why? I didn’t plan in the past to do said things. Once I got on the landbridge, I noticed a faint, black beam, far to the south of me. The black light! Continuing on, people started to fill my local. I PMed them as the precaution and found out I was finally near Valhalla. As I went back, all I could think of was “Well. What now? Get the lock, the tools, and go home?”. Since I obviously wasn’t enjoying myself over there. . Overall, I kinda enjoyed myself. But Kyara isn’t famous for dealing with visitors. But as much as I wanted to go there, I wanted to go back home just as bad. In other words… I fucked up my own vacation. Kyara had nothing to do with it. I should’ve asked around before I even left JK-H if there was a place for me in Wild that would be willing to take in a lone traveler for a week. \nApproaching Port Middi was a challenge, even with the owner, Middi, trying to guide me in by telling me it’s west of the stone structure on the sand called an obelisk. Finally though I found my way in. Though as I said, Kyara wasn’t expecting me and didn’t give me access into this strange tunnel I’ve never seen before.
\nThe Middi person told me to leave my boat while he waited for Gavin to drag my boat into Port Middi who I didn’t know he lived in Kyara at the time. I went past this small lava field to Kyara’s large marketplace.
\nThey weren’t kidding when they say that Kyara is the capital city of Jenn-Kellon. Anyway I waited, looked around. Looked through Vean’s homestead that he calls his own marketplace.
\nTime passed. I was unable to speak to Gavin about it and Middi logged off. So I asked Kyara’s local if someone can get my boat into the port, and someone named Rogue showed up and did just that.<\/p>\n
\nI figured it was for my own good if I didn’t see it, and dropped asking them.<\/p>\n
\nThe rest of that day(in RL) was pretty much… boring. And I eventually went to bed.<\/p>\n
\nStill, it was a sorta active day. It started with Middi wanting me to build a few things. Unfortunately I left my tools back at my house, but she gave me the tools I needed…and very nice tools they where — especially the enchants. I was able to go through a log and make a plank in 5 seconds<\/strong>.
\nAnd in return he gave me a 20kg, 60QL iron lump, and a matching QL whetstone. Got them done. Alittle later I asked Duce, one of the citizens of Kyara if I could have tools like Middi has.
\nHe had to leave for awhile, and after some talk with Pinejon, another Kyara citizen if I would be OK to go to Valhalla myself, I left Kyara and headed there on my own.
\nPMed a few people here and there. Though they where all WLers. After stopping at the white light for a 2nd time, I got a few more pictures of the light, and some signs I found. Soon I found the way to continue SW to the landbridge, according to the map.<\/p>\n
\nI asked for a guide to get me to CV. Sadly, that would never happen. I got to their main gate and asked for access, but didn’t get it because I wasn’t a member of CV. So I logged onto Benie who still had my deed and writs back home, and tried to get ahold of Xallo, which I did. Explained the situation to him and he got me access through the north gate.
\nBack on DH, I went through it and turned right, heading towards a Palisade gate. Then stopped short as two people walked by me. I presumed they wanted me to wait for some kind of security check, and I was right.
\nI told the mayor of Valhalla I was through the north gate, but he said I’m not going any further until I become a member of CV. Again I used Benie to explain. This time he got on an alt in Wild and tried to tell them in PMs about who I was. But sadly, he could do nothing. So I decided to go back to Kyara.<\/p>\n
\nMade it back to Kyara ok, and saw Duce was back online but was on an alt, chasing someone. 10 minutes later he responds, telling me my tools are done and would be sending someone down and over to me to pick them up. So I run to Vean’s Place, get 2s from the bank(amazing how I can access my account back home), and wait for this delivery guy to come down. 5 minutes later the person shows up, I pay him and get the tools.
\n5 minutes later after that, I get an idea to just go back to JK-H, go through the tunnel to RC, leave my boat there and go home. Then post an ad on the Wurm forum, asking for a high QL boat lock where I can stay home while waiting.
\nAnd I did just that. Telling Kyara that I was ready to go, but lying that something came up that needs me back home. So I head down to Port Middi as someone gets my boat out, gets it through the tunnel and I take over.
\nSoon, I’m back in JK-H as Sol rises. And… the rest is history.<\/p>\n

\nBut, can you blame Kyara for the way they acted? I mean. I didn’t really give them ample warning that I was going to show up.
\nAt the time, I had no idea I was going to stay outside Kyara. I was planning to just use Port Middi for my boat and find a village that would take me in afterwords.<\/p>\n
\nAnd as for wanting to see the dragon, blame my obsession for that. I was planning to stay outside Kyara as long as I can…. as long as it took, just to see it.
