As all of you may know, angry got me to wanna move to Annaysoan Point and found a new deed, named “Dragon Haven”.
\nThat means I’m moving out of Dragon Forest, but I’m giving Benie control of it, so I’ll be able to pay for both deeds. Incase I ever decide to come back. Or, I may sell it. I dunno.<\/p>\n
But lets go back in time to where Dragon Forest(or as it was named “Benie’s Homestead” in the past) was just a baby. To remember the times, good and bad, I’ve had with it.<\/p>\n
It first started after I had moved from the camp, that me(as Benie), angry, and Matty lived at. I wanted a place to call my own, and thought the 2nd lake above Rockcliff would be a good place to be, since I loved living by a lake due to the shear beauty. Sparkyrich, one of the members of Greenside, had other ideas though. And after going up there proved to be more than I could handle, he got me on the right track and showed me a flat area near a lake.
\nI’ve passed by this area quite alot of times when I was still living at SoTR, helping vixeyrose with water. But never would of thought that some day I would own that piece of land.
\nHe showed me around the place, and told me of these two mines that where already made. So I wouldn’t have to make my own mines. And I remembered how BIG they where. It blew me away. And then he showed me the view of the lake that would one day be where my house is.
\nI pretty much… just died when I saw that view. How incredibly beautiful it was. How could I say no?! And so, I took it.
\nA few days later, Sparkysgal, the owner of Greenside, got the HS deed for me, because I was low on cash at the time. She gave me it and I tried to found it. But alas, the village north of us, known as “Apple Bs”, was blocking this from happening. Fortunately she was able to contact the owner and got her to enable the option to allow deeds, and I finally planted it.
\nAlittle time after that and the stone slabs began to be removed one by one and replaced with grass. And then the houses went up. Sgal thought that I would want three separate houses for my HS. But found out that I just wanted one and let me do what I want.
\nIt was from then on, and to this very day, I’ve been responsible for this homestead.<\/p>\n
A few months passed, and my HS grew. I littered the place with my favorite tree in Wurm; Pine. The ramp to the lake was made. And I still remember going north of my HS one day to visit Oakvale. At the time we didn’t have boats, so I had to vacation on foot. Once getting there, I noticed it was on an island inside a small bay. I was amazed at the way it looked, and wondered if I could do it back home. Because at the time, my desire to keep my HS the way it looks was fading rapidly.<\/p>\n
When returning home, I desperately wanted to try to redo the idea Oakvale had and tried to get to work. But my lack of knowledge of flatraising would cost me. Over and over I remembered desperately trying to seek help from kchat for a flatraising expert to come down here. Though I got a few, and even got some help for digging, it still wasn’t enough and it drove me past the breaking point.
\nSo I gave angry the deed and quit….
\nAnd where that is, is now known as “The Scar”. Because it hurt so bad.<\/p>\n
4 months later, I came back as Dragonhead. It was at this time when boats came into Wurm. And I regretted quitting so much. After a long time of suffering, I finally get the HS back.<\/p>\n
But sadly, all the love I put into this place… was pretty much a distant memory when boats came out. They would fuck up everything I have ever worked for. As in, boats where useful for not just hauling goods across the ocean, but for people. Boats are known as “super carts”, or “floating carts”.<\/p>\n
With the rise and fall of Beelzeboss, my hate for plank-making increased. Back when Dragon Forest was named Benie’s Homestead, planking was actually fun. Now, it’s… geh.<\/p>\n
Dragon Forest has gone through alot of changes. Possibly even alot more when the goons where living on it. And sadly, it’s lost it’s beauty that it once had when I moved in. Because of my relentless changing to the land.
\nAnd now it’s pretty much lost it’s function because of boats. Ever since the tunnel was made from NewTown to Small Bears, it was like a calling that one day I would try to live by the ocean, instead of by a lake with no access to the ocean.<\/p>\n
And as I look down, standing on another failed idea to improve the HS at the pier, staring at my rowboat. I can only hope my new life will be just as good as this place was to me. Though I don’t have any ideas at the moment for what is known now as Annaysoan Point, I hope to get some soon when I finally make my move.<\/p>\n
But. What made me snap and realize what I was doing was pointless, and made me wanna move away from a great place? I’m still trying to figure that out.
\nIt could be several factors. Depression. Boredom. Loneliness.
\nI think when I finally started to realize that living by this lake was bad, was when I had moved from Neveron, to the Northwestern side of the lake. Tried to make a boat pier due to an idea I saw on the west coast, and saw it was pretty much… pointless to even make a pier. Since I was the only one that would use it.
\nThen again, maybe it was the trip around the home server.<\/p>\n
Everyone I knew in the past has either quit or moved far away, making me the only one living by that lake. Which could be another contributing factor.
\nBut I think the number one thing was probably the fact I love being out on the water. I felt.. free. Like I could control my life as well as the boat taking me anywhere I wanna go. Letting the wind guide me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
