The highlights of the day where;
Beel locked me out of SoTR. Champ Scorp tamed by friendly person. Caol gave me advice on how to up Mind logic. Wurm’s first Red and Black Dragons used to live on NT’s southern mountain. Angry trying to find us a place to live. And the lag attack.<\/p>\n
Logged in this afternoon. Noticed angry or someone has dug up all of the grass inside the wall, and the house for joedirt is gone.
I tried to get in SoTR through the gatehouse, and noticed I couldn’t get in the main door. I checked to see if I was lagging and I wasn’t… Beel has locked me out!! :O
The reason I feel are the words I said to him. How SoTR is his, and what’s outside of it isn’t. Apparently he took this the wrong way and made SURE that SoTR is his.
I quickly ran up the road to Roadside to complain about Beel, only to find 1 person was there. Kamatagurl. And she didn’t know anything about SoTR.<\/p>\n
Beel has pretty much sealed off SoTR to everyone with fences…EXCEPT the back area where the stone walls have decayed and I was able to get in. The place looks like it’s in shambles with dead animal bodies here and there.
I don’t really think I can “press charges” on Beel for doing this. Since it is..in a way his property. Even though I gave him the money for the deed which he hasn’t yet planted.<\/p>\n
Later on in the day, thinking if I should wait for angry to get on or make a cart and build my sailboat, A guy named Saidin showed up in my local and said hello. Though I didn’t see him. A few seconds later, a HUGE scorp popped up on the road who was Saidin’s pet. The guy asked if I had anything to kill.
Still frozen from the size of the scorp, I said a hesitant ‘no’.
Him and the scorp went on their way heading up the road. As I watched it go by, I was stunned that it was the width of Bearback Highway!
10 minutes later, Caol logs in and I talked to him about the mess I’m in, and he suggested I make my own mine. So I began terraforming.
Finally, I hit rock and made a Rock tile appear, only to screw up after opening the entrance, an Iron Ore deposit was in my fucking way!
Trying as hard as I could, I mined over 100 iron ores, but the deposit would not get out of the way. So I tried to bypass the ore and it worked, thanks to angry’s help.
After what seemed to be a 7 minute server freeze, I was booted off of it for 5 minutes. Fortunately it went back up as “fast” as it went down and I didn’t lose any of my terraforming\/mining work.<\/p>\n
Finally having a cave ceiling, I tried to get to where that ore was, only to get 2 very scary messages in my Event window…
“The cave walls sound hollow. A dangerous side shaft could emerge.”
followed by: “The cave shudders from some imbalance.”<\/p>\n
Nervous, I asked kchat and they said the 2nd was a sign of a cave-in. But the fact I was mining it, the 1st just meant there’s another tunnel nearby.
It took some time to think about this but I think I know why it’s doing it.<\/p>\n
Due to my screwed up cave entrance and trying to get to the ore from the other one I made 2 tiles over to the left, it’s making the screw up act like a “tunnel”, and maybe even threaten to cave it in if the wall breaks. In a way this is a good thing. I can just put dirt over my mistake once it’s filled back up and work from there.
Or, it’s a sign that Beel’s failed cave to water could be in the way. That might be possible as well. It’s a shame I don’t have access to the other cave and mark this and my cave in Mapper and see if they indeed overlap or not. But I find this somewhat impossible of a chance.
