Time travel. It’s something most humans wanted for many years. The ability to go back in time and stop ourselves from doing something really stupid in our lives (like me getting into the WoD Beta! Shots fired). Or even seeing ancient history, like the Egyptians, the ancient Greeks, even dinosaurs.<\/p>\n

So back in 1987(no, not the ‘Bite of 87’ to you FNaF Fanboys) in Philadelphia, PA.. a brilliant scientist named “Doctor Repeatski” has finally invented the one thing we’ve been waiting for: a Time Travel machine! However (and of course you didn’t expect humans to actually be smart enough to use time travel properly<\/em>…), it causes Earth almost be blown up, and now there’s a robot uprising with killer robots taking over. It turns the once beautiful city into ‘Cincindelphia, USSA’ in the near ‘198X’.<\/p>\n

Suddenly the future Doctor Repeatski (named ‘Commander Repeatski’), decked with medals all over his chest, shows up to help the situation. Stating that himself in the future is now the commander of an elite fighting force called “Super Time Force”.<\/p>\n

You enter the future doctor’s practice course. Soon you will be able to control three main characters (as you advance in the tutorial); “Jean Rambois”(the gunner), “Aimy Mckillin”(the sniper), and “Shieldy Blocker”(the pretty obvious).
\nAt the start, you can switch between these three characters. You can unlock a total of 16 characters in the entire game. This ‘Ultra’ version that came out, I heard rumors that even more characters are available (such as ones from VALVe and Minecraft).<\/p>\n

The object of the game is to complete the entire level in 1 minute. I personally am not<\/em> a fan of ‘beat the clock’ games (even though this game’s mechanics were done very well). It’s actually pretty possible, but you must use the power of Time Travel to your advantage. For that, you need what is known as a Time Out.
\nAnd no, I’m not telling you to face the corner until you think about what you’ve done. Think of the Time Out system as an Undo. You can undo your death, but it costs one Time Out. You have 30 at each start of the level. Finding what are known as ‘Glorbs’, gives you an extra Time Out.<\/p>\n

As for the time, if you use a Time Out, look to the top of the level as you’ll see glowing shards. Either shoot or grab them and time will slow down for about 5-10 seconds, giving you.. well.. TIME to plan your attack. Did I mention there’s a lot of time puns in this game? No? Well, it’s about TIME I did!
\nOk, I’ll stop.<\/p>\n

So anyway, another thing I forgot to mention, if you get hit by a laser blast by the robots (called ‘Blounbots’), you insta-die. This makes the game somewhat annoying, especially when you’re… wait for it… running OUT OF TIME!!! \ud83d\ude00
\n*sigh* Right. Enough time puns!
\nThere is one thing I really don’t like. The right stick is useless in this game. Your left stick is not only your movement stick, but also your aiming stick. And there’s no way of changing it. That’s just stupid.<\/p>\n

\nSo, it’s about THAT TIME… to do my final review;<\/p>\n

Good;
\n-Pretty cool time control-based gameplay.
\n-Nice retro music.
\n-Shows why “we can’t have nice things” (as in the power to travel through time).<\/p>\n

Bad:
\n-Left stick controls both movement and aiming. Why isn’t the right stick being used?
\n-A bit too punishing with its one hit = you die thing.
\n-No option to start a new game and overwrite your existing save.<\/p>\n

Final Verdict: Please note that my reviews may sound bias. So just base your decision on my video review and see if this is a game you would like to play.
