I could go anywhere with this post. So, this thing started trending on Twitter that Gearbox &#8216;wants another Duke Nukem game&#8217;. They&#8217;re even trying to find a new development team to do it and have even made concept art for those &#8220;lucky&#8221; devs that decide to do it. .. Ahah.. good luck to them.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, wasn&#8217;t Duke Nukem Forever an embarrassment enough to Gearbox? Personally, I liked the game. Didn&#8217;t love it, just liked. It&#8217;s almost if they&#8217;re trying to say to the gaming public: &#8220;Yeah, yeah&#8230; Duke Nukem Forever sucked. But we&#8217;re not done with Duke! We can make him better! Stronger! Even more full of himself! And we know JUST how to do it! We&#8217;ll find another development team to make the new game!! *insane publisher moment here*&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gearbox&#8217;s CEO states how this &#8220;new Duke&#8221; would be &#8220;3 to 4 times more popular than the Borderlands franchise&#8221;&#8230;<br \/>\n3 to 4 times more famous than the Borderlands franchise, huh? Unlikely. Duke&#8217;s legacy is just that; a legacy. He doesn&#8217;t need to become FrankenDuke for us to like him again. That ship has sailed (and crashed into an iceburg).<\/p>\n<p>This would be one of those &#8220;I&#8217;ll believe it when I see it&#8221; moments in gaming. In ways, I would actually like to see what whoever takes the job, actually uses technology that gamers demand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hahah&#8230; ohh boy.
