My PS Plus Free Trial ended yesterday, but I’ve been busy with the road project on the MRT to really notice. Now I have, and the thought of “greedy bastards” comes to mind of what I saw.
\nAll the free games I got when I had the service? I cannot play them anymore. All because I don’t have the service. Yeah. That thought of “greedy bastards” definitely plays out here. And here I hear that Sony is hurting financially. Gee.. I wonder why? When they ask $50 a year, which is $20 less than what is paid to keep this website going. And they wonder why they’re strapped for cash.<\/p>\n
On top of this, I had to call on Friday to make sure the free trial would expire and I won’t be charged. And it’s a good thing I did, because I was<\/span> going to be… even though I had set it not<\/em> to renew the service. I got enough high priced bills as it is. And $50 a year for how little I’ll play them, just doesn’t seem worth it. Their cheapest offer is $10 a month(that $9.99 I mentioned before). That’s still too much. \nI was literally told by the guy: “hope you enjoy the rest of your free trial! By the way, you’re going to be billed $9.99 when it expires. Does that sound good?” And I’m all “WHAT?! NO!!” Though the guy was nice enough to understand I didn’t want to be billed and made sure I wasn’t. Then on top of that, wanted me to fill in one of their “how well did I help you?” surveys. I closed it out. Fuck that. I rarely fill in those things. Despise surveys.<\/p>\n
\nSteam, there is no monthly fee. And they offer free games. There is no ‘Steam Plus’ service (though I shouldn’t be giving them ideas :P).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
