Anyway, like I’ve been saying for the past few weeks, I thought about going to WoW, but was unsure about it. So, I finally had the balls to ask a forum I thought would laugh at me… Facepunch. But instead, they helped me. Not as much as I wanted, but it was enough to reconsider going back. They showed me pictures on how awesome the new EP was…and wow where they nice.
\nThe real thought is “Just give it a try. Maybe you’ll luck out and find all of your old addons that will work again.”, and so I found my WoW CD’s and installed them. When it was time to set up a new account, thinking my old account surely has been wiped for not playing for nearly 2 years, I found out my CD key was already used…
\n“Does this mean my old account is still active?” I thought.
\nSo I called Blizzard’s account support and explained the situation. They told me that they do NOT delete accounts. Only the credit card info…meaning my Level 70 Dwarf Hunter is STILL ALIVE!!!
\nThe person retrieved my old account info, telling me my long forgotten account name, and resetted my password.<\/p>\n
After getting off the phone, I tried to connect. After several unsuccessful attempts, I finally got in(due to when I copy\/pasted the new password, I accidentally had a space in it and it treated it like an additional character. And that’s when I saw him… Benie, Level 70 Dwarf Hunter. I wanted to scream with joy. I thought I would never see him again after all of these years.
\nI also saw my Tauren Shaman. Benthetauren. Still Level 31.<\/p>\n
I have already ordered WoTLK(Wrath of The Lich King; the 2nd EP), and the official strategy guide. They should be here sometime in early March.
\nI’ll take this time to get on Benie, see if my fake Guild is still there(surely it is), and start learning how to play after all of these years.
