This is also the final day of the old talent tree system. May it rest in peace in the minds of every player of WoW, when the servers go back up tomorrow and the patch is official.

First off, dual talent spec still exists. And Dust of Disappearance can be used to remove a specific Talent Tier. If you need to change your spec, class trainers are still available for a “small” fee. But as for Hunters, Pet Trainers should no longer be needed.

Second, Pandarians are in Stormwind and Org. In SW, they’re on the island next to the Cata portals. Their location was shown when Wowhead first got the new pictures of MoP. But they aren’t there to teleport you to their island, they’re there to explore the shattered world. They have a Monk Trainer you can speak to, and a few monks to show off how they walk and talk (and fight). I love how they told me once “You have the eyes of one who has traveled much”. Because it’s very true. I love exploring. Being a dragon and all.
By the way, Pandarian Females apparently can have tails. Now why couldn’t they put them on Worgen, hmm?

They also have a way for you to get your very own Dragon Turtle, which looks nothing like a dragon, but I’m sure it has the temper (and maybe even the intelligence) of one. Sure can’t fly, though. The Pandarian breeder there sells a Tabard with a new faction (a faction not mentioned anywhere in Wowhead for the MoP Beta) that is similar to the capital city factions of getting a mount.
Do any dungeon, get rep, get to Exalted, get a Dragon Turtle. 🙂 And I assume the Dragon Turtle is the Pandarian mount of choice.
I thought I had taken screenshots of this area. I guess I was wrong. I’ll have to tomorrow, since it’ll be the final day of the PTR.
Also, it seems currently impossible to get one of these turtles. I’m wondering if this is either we’re going to have to wait for MoP, or it’s only in the MoP Beta. Because I’ve seen no one riding on one of those turtles.

Another thing, the Pet Battle Trainer is on the other side, on another island. But it seems this is another MoP Beta only feature. How it pisses me off I didn’t get a Beta key.
The system is in the PTR, but it’s not obtainable. I guess we’ll find out a few weeks after the patch goes live.

The Skyfire has returned! The same zeppelin that assisted in stopping Deathwing in the Dragon Soul raid has been repaired and is better than ever. It now works as an Aircraft Carrier. It’s location is Northwest of Stormwind, hovering next to a mountain.
Speaking to the leader of the Skyfire, she mentions about taking the fight to Theramore. So I assume this is where the new Battle of Theramore PvE Scenario will begin. She never acknowledged me as being a Savior of Azeroth, having defeated Deathwing. But that’s fine.

Major Currency (other than Gold) is to be changed, which I personally have no idea why they’re doing this. It feels pointless.
Basically, Valor points will be converted to Justice points. The thing is, you cannot gain anymore Justice points if the number is over the 4000 cap (which I will be). And in two weeks after the patch, all points above the cap will be converted to Gold, in a rate of 47s per Justice point, or 35 silver per Honor point. And the Justice point cap will be reinforced.
This really won’t affect me at all. It’ll just give me some more cash. 🙂 Others say this will ruin Battlegrounds. I say, and if I may quote the Heavy; “CRY SOME MORE”. 😉
As long as they don’t cripple me getting re-geared in Justice gear after hitting Level 90 (after doing what I wanna do first) I’ll be just fine.

There’s one other thing. Not sure if this is related to the patch or not. But I was in GS, sitting on the roof like I usually do, and I was looking at something. Suddenly, the ground shook. I thought it was just someone dueling. But it happened more frequently, like it was footsteps.
I zoom out, and a guy in a fucking Ettin disguise shows up! Soon, there’s four Ettins dueling in GS. It was crazy! I had screenshots, and again it seems as if I never took them. This is weird. I guess I was hitting the screenshot key used in Minecraft instead of WoW.

After that thing, I saw a person fly in on an Onxyian Drake. So it seems we have a new dragon mount. Thankfully, there’s not a Drake that looks like Deathwing. Or I would personally run over, screaming “DIE, BASTARD!!!”. We do have a Lil’ Deathwing pet that comes with the Cata Collector’s Edition, who thankfully doesn’t think about destroying Azeroth and killing everyone with no mercy.

It’s already been noted that we will now be able to share achievements, account-wide. There’s even one that you have to level an Alliance and Horde char to 85 to get it. And I already got that in the bag with Benie and Beefhunter (Beef being my only Level 85 Horde char).
We’ll also be able to share mounts. Which means possibly, I can let Beefhunter use my Dragon Form. But I’ve yet to have confirmation on that. But if he can, he could help future Horde chars I might make. Like a few Pandarian Monks for each faction.
I could also possibly help out one of my chars on my second account get their Vial of the Sands.

The Dungeon Journal will finally show all Dungeons and Raids for Classic and all EPs, including ones in MoP. No more having to go to Wowhead to know how bosses fight. Though it seems all WoTLK dungeons, don’t show any lore info of bosses. I’m guessing this will be added later on.

And that’s pretty much it that I can see. I’m sure Blizzard will do a few surprises in the patch notes that I didn’t cover in this.
In remembrance of SM and Scholo before they are redesigned tomorrow via the patch, I will be soloing them for the very last time on my main server. SM especially, as it was my first solo’d dungeon since hitting Level 70. Both will be missed.

As for how many days ’till the release of MoP, it’s now just less than a month away. 28 days.

Here’s that blog post I was mentioning yesterday, of what else I’ve seen of this patch that hasn’t been explained yet (some have).
