I’m in The Hinterlands, heading to do a quest when I get a PM. “ST?”. After some thinking I decide to go there.
\nAs I’m going there, I’m noticing the lack of communication that makes a group bad. No “Who’s tanking?” or “I need to be summoned”. No nothing!
\nIf that wasn’t bad enough, the group leader is having connection problems. She can’t stay on for longer than a minute.
\nWhen I finally landed in Stonard and headed to ST, I was the first one there. We had a Druid, who apparently was going to be our tank, that left the group, so I asked if we should get another.<\/p>\n
No response until a few of them got there. One of them found a 52 Pally and got him into the group who had things to do, but we where able to summon him with the Warlock in the group.
\nSoon as we stepped through the portal, it was all-out chaos of some of them not knowing where to go or who to follow. We didn’t even have a true tank. I was pretty much doing off-tank duty because of it.<\/p>\n
So we’re doing the lowest level of the instance. The room with the snake statues that have to be pressed in order. Again, the “tank”, who is now the 52 Pally, sitting there trying to hold aggro. But the mobs go after the others, making them tanks. Even I was a tank for a few times.<\/p>\n
This didn’t get any better as we headed up to the troll section. Ohh god the frustration and the facepalming I was doing as I was trying to tell them “We got to kill all the mini-bosses to drop the shield”. The tank went his own way and the group was separated several times.<\/p>\n
On the first troll fight, I advised the tank to take out the pat who’s walking through this group of mobs infront of us. He did not know what a pat was, so I had to explain to him.. what the fuck. He’s Level 52 and he didn’t know what a fucking pat was?!
\nYou learn that shit by doing Deadmines!<\/p>\n
The group thins to three people. Me, the tank, and the healer. I was the only DPS in the group. So we’re now in the dragon section. Once again all-out confusion of where to go. The healer’s getting sleeped, and I’m advising the tank to attack the sleepers. He never does.<\/p>\n
Then we get to the dragon boss. And as I knew, she didn’t attack because we didn’t take down the mini-bosses. He was actually thinking it was going to attack, telling us to stay back. So I ran over and I was hearing “Get back here, Beef!” and just walked right over her. He was stunned that she didn’t attack.
\nAfter that, the tank said “I guess we’re done then”, and I convinced him it is.. for this group anyway.<\/p>\n

\nWorst….group…EVER!!! The worst group I have ever been a part of since I started playing WoW. That’s just sad.
\nThe ONLY thing that was actually keeping the thing from falling apart, is because we had one hell of a healer.
\nAt least I got some good XP out of it.<\/p>\n
