I’m trying to play the rest of Living World Season 2. I have gotten up to Chapter 7 so
\nfar, where I have.. ragequitted. I need a break. Getting way too pissed off\/stressed at the game. And it’s mainly for not one, not two, but three forced to learn mechanics (that aren’t the traditional, old way of killing things) in order to proceed the story.
\nWhat finally broke me was a forced stealth section. And I do mean forced. As in if they find you, it’s game over. You can’t re-stealth yourself. You can’t heal yourself. You are
\nfucked.
\nWhat nearly broke me (more like actually wishing for someone to shoot me and put me out of my misery than spend as much time as I was forced to).. on trying to kill some
\nbosses. These crystalline mini-bosses who have a health pool the size of Jupiter, are immune to everything<\/span> but raw damage.
\n
\nThis fucker, the final boss…, took me 30 MINUTES until it finally went down. It was stuck at 50% health for a long time where I thought the encounter was bugged.. turns out I have to have to keep ‘sacrificing’ my minions to this asshole to keep damaging it. I’m not kidding.
\nIt isn’t about not DPSing hard enough. It isn’t a skill issue. It’s the game, not telling
\nme how the fuck<\/strong> to properly damage them!! The only idea the game showed me, was these ‘hidden achievements’. It claimed, I could take down one of the mini-bosses down from 75% health to 0, in less than 15 seconds. I thought “NO FUCKING WAY could I pull that shit off!!”
\nBut, in the final area, there’s this boon that drops your health to 1. The slightest pinch, will kill you. There are these mobs that will consume boons. If they consume this, their<\/em> health drops to 0 (making them super easy to kill). Somehow, you have to get the boss, or something, to.. maybe walk on them the moment they die, to weaken them?! I
\ndunno!
\nNow, I’m not really against boss mechanics. Trying to learn them is fun. But, only when the game actually tells you how to do it, so you’ll be prepared. This time, I had absolutely no idea what the hell to do!! It frustrated me so fucking much!
\nAnd I’m never EVER going to do that episode again! Fuck that shit! But I guess I should be thankful it’s not one of those really annoying bosses that my minions can’t keep the aggro off me, and its ranged attack abilities are less than mine. ..Just wish the game explained the damn mechanics to me in a visual way! There are these light pillars that sometimes would have a shape in them, but I cannot get to them. Keep being knocked back when I approach.<\/p>\n

But, the season did come with some really cool times. Especially with all the ass kissing I got for defeating Zhaitan. It was great. Like, there was this time where there’s these
\ntwo Charr who were chilling and I run by them. One of them points at me and
\nshouts “That’s him! That the guy who took down Zhaitan!!”
\nI felt like saying “Yes! And I had absolutely no help from NPCs! I took him down all by myself!.. yeah my minions helped too, but I did it!! Would you like an autograph?” But that would’ve been far from the truth. Just glad Rytlock wasn’t there deflating my ego by saying “it wasn’t a solo effort”. Fuck you too, Brimstone. lol
\nThere was also this part where I was getting all the world leaders together to talk about the seriousness of Mordremoth, and how it’s vines have been seen causing chaos all
\nover Tyria. Infact I’ve seen it with my own two eyes. It is absolute horror
\nwhat Mordremoth is doing.
\nThere’s this Azura who questioned my solo skills, saying something like “you took
\ndown Zhaitan, why are you unable to take down Mordremoth the same way?”
\nAnd the answer is, honestly… I had help. The Pact was there, had that airship that helped me to defeat Zhaitan. I need that help again, from all of you guys. And they thankfully agreed.<\/p>\n

…But, before I could go to command my Pact army to victory once again, I was called on a special assignment to assist the Master of Peace with something I could not speak of. All I could say is it would be very, very bad for all of Tyria if it fell in the wrong hands.
\nThat explains what happened in the start of Heart of Thorns, why I wasn’t there
\nonboard Destiny’s Edge. And in a way, it was actually a good thing. Mordremoth would’ve won in destroying Tyria without Deathclaw Ragefist there stopping it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
